Keystone Nature Scapes is a small, family-owned and operated ecological landscape company based in Mannford, Oklahoma, serving Tulsa and the surrounding communities.

Brayden grew up in Loveland, Colorado, where she worked in horticulture and studied at Front Range Community College and Colorado State University before “successfully dropping out” and turning a side hustle into what would eventually become Keystone Nature Scapes.

Dylan is also a transplant, originally from Portland, Oregon. His background spans carpentry, stone masonry, traditional landscaping, and construction—skills that help the company take on complex and unconventional landscape projects.

Both made their way to Oklahoma around 2020, but their paths didn’t cross until the fall of 2023. From there, they were practically inseparable and soon began building Keystone Nature Scapes into a full-time business.

What started with routine maintenance and small planting projects grew into larger installations combining horticulture, design, stonework, construction, and ecological restoration. Along the way, their shared interest in ecology and thoughtful design shaped an approach rooted in the needs of each site and the people and wildlife who use it.

Dylan’s brother, Lucian, joined as an apprentice and quickly became an essential part of the team. Bright, strong, and always eager to learn new skills, he has helped us work more efficiently and keep projects moving smoothly. We love having him alongside us and deeply appreciate the hard work, curiosity, and energy he brings to every project.

From the beginning, Brayden and Dylan chose to work without herbicides or other chemical treatments. That commitment continues through ongoing refinement of their site preparation methods, informed by years of hands-on work with Bermuda grass and persistent invasive plants. They also prioritize sourcing from local and regional nurseries that grow without neonicotinoids and other chemical treatments whenever possible.

Today, Keystone Nature Scapes bridges native ecology and traditional landscaping, creating intentional, beautiful spaces that provide meaningful ecological value.
